After a few customers reached out requesting more efficient ways to access California AB 488 data, the Cause IQ team decided to start sourcing the information directly from the California Franchise Tax Board and California Office of the Attorney General.

Here are the new CA AB 488 fields available for filtering (you can find them by searching their names in the search filter sidebar's Advanced search and within the Accounting and audit sub filter section):

• California AB 488 status
• California Charity Registration status
• California FTB status revoked

Additionally, there are a few more fields (date fields) you can view and export, but aren't available for filtering:

• California FTB Entity ID
• California AG registration number
• California date approval issued
• California status set date
• California last renewal date
• California FTB status revoked date
• California AB 488 status last updated

When available, you can access an organization's California AB 488 information at the bottom of the Summary section on the Cause IQ profile page. Here's a look at where the new data is displayed:

For customers using our API, we added the new data fields to the organization search and profile endpoints. Here are the field names:

• ca_ag_status: AB 488 status (now a default field returned on organization profile and search endpoints)
• ca_ag_registry_status: Charity Registration status
• ca_ftb_status_revoked: FTB status revoked
• ca_ag_reg_num: AG Registration Number
• ca_ftb_entity_id: FTB Entity ID
• ca_ag_date_status_set: Current status set date
• ca_ag_date_last_renewal: Last renewal date
• ca_ag_date_issue: Approval issued date
• ca_ftb_status_revoked_date: FTB tax-exempt status revoked date
• ca_ag_date_as_of: AB 488 data last updated ("as-of") date
