Built in deduplication feature allows you to only export personnel and organization records you haven't previously
In this help article...Cause IQ has built-in deduping within our export wizard, so you can choose not to export personnel and organization records that you've previously exported out of the system. To use this feature, you need to do two things:
You tell Cause IQ to remember an export in the "What" step of the export process. Just look for the "Remember exported records" section and enter an appropriate name for the export. Here's where you tell Cause IQ you want to remember all records included in a specific export:
Cause IQ's default setting requires you to name your exports before you can move to the "Columns" or "Personnel" step to choose the information and types of people you want to export. If you don't want to remember the records you're exporting, simply check the "Don't remember which organizations (or personnel) are exported" box.
In the "What" step of the export process, you have three options for deduping. Here are the options that appear in the "Which records to include" section:
Here's a look at the "Which records to include" section of the "What" step of the export process:
After you select the desired option for the records to include in your export, complete the rest of the export steps, and generate your report in the "Confirm" step.
When choosing specific remembered exports to exclude, the options change depending on whether you're running an "Organization details" or "Personnel, with organization details" export. If exporting just organizations, only remembered exports including just organizations will appear. If exporting personnel and organizations, only remembered exports containing personnel and the organizations they work for will appear.
