Program areas at 180 Turning Lives Around

Residential Services: - Emergency Shelter - 24/7 emergency shelter/safe house and hotline for survivors of domestic violence, with comprehensive services including counseling, case management,Family Court assistance, tutoring for children, laundry, clothing and recreational activities. - Transitional Housing & Rapid Re-housing- an up to two year, partial rent voucher service combined with case management and referral to other agency programs as well as other community resources to help prevent homelessness and sustain housing stability.
Outreach Services: - Outreach Counseling - provides trauma-informed supportive individual and group counseling for survivors of domestic violence, incest,rape,sexual assault at the Hazlet main office, Shore Regional Outreach Office with specialized culturally relevant counseling, case management and ancillary supports for marginalized populations; and Freehold annex. - Family Justice Center (FJC), Outreach and Counseling - these include the FJC center co-located at the Freehold Superior Court and 180 Annex, provides legal services, family court assistance, immigration supports, liaison with Prosecutor's Office and County Office of Victim Witness, and links survivors with a range of services providing added support.
Youth Services: this includes Amanda's Easel,an art and other creative arts therapies program for children and youth exposed to domestic violence and abuse, combined with counseling and support for parents/guardians affected by domestic violence and abuse. - 2ND Floor Youth Help and Textline - the only state-wide program operated by 180, this provides 24/7 phone and text helpline for youth throughout the state of New Jersey to share their day to day concerns, and to help prevent issues from becoming overwhelming. Trained and supervised listeners encourage discussion and provide support for youth to explore their own solutions to issues, referrals to additional providers, and practical guidance.
