Program areas at 196 Community Thrift Store
We work with the social workers in school district 196 to make sure families have what they need. We supply hats, gloves, jackets, snow pants and boots to children. We provide clothes and household items and deliver them to families at no charge. We are a community store with very low prices to offer clothes and other items to the community starting at only one dollar.
We provide volunteer opportunities for students to earn service hours toward volunteer requirements.
We collect hygiene items for students. Delivered of 75 kits to students and families in the local area.
