Program areas at 5050 Women on Boards
In 2023, the Global Conversation on Board Diversity held 1 Virtual Conversations and 17 City Conversations. Events are organized and run by a volunteer chair or co-chairs. 5050WOB enters into an agreement with the chair or co-chairs for the planning and fundraising for the event, but expenses are incurred by, and proceeds are paid to the organization. All proceeds for 5050WOB managed events are retained by the organization. All GBCD events are entirely run by volunteers and were mostly held in the months of September through December of 2023. The events are centered around a theme related to the organizations mission, which is discussed by a speaker or panel of speakers. Individual Attendees pay for entry based on a selection of one event and add-on events if they would like to attend more than one event. Additionally, corporations may purchase a sponsorship for a single event location or multiple locations, which range in price between $3,500.00 and $100,000. Sponsorship packages include a range of benefits depending on package, including options such as sponsoring companys name and logo on 5050WOBs website, social media recognition, and acknowledgement at the event. All contributions from GCBD events are unrestricted.

Our quarterly and annual reports identify factors that promote or impede gender balance and diversity, while our Gender Diversity Directory Index enables users to search by company name, state, sector, and Board Rating to identify companies lacking women on their boards.
