21/6216464 is a nonprofit practice specializing in next generation and multigenerational engagement in philanthropy and as such has conducted a number of activities in alignment with our mission in 2022.facilitation21/64 provided education and facilitation services to more than 30 families who are making collective decisions together on topics like money and philanthropy as well as over 20 private non-profit foundations, community foundations, federations, and a handful of family office and financial institutions which are trying to educate their donors and clients about the significance of philanthropic giving, identity, values and in how to work across the multiple generations to respond to urgent needs and systemic long-term issues. In these facilitations, we offered frameworks exercises to help organizations, their boards and staff to identify the values inherent in each generation that inform their experience of giving, the vision for what they could fund individually and collectively, as well as strategies for communicating effectively with people of different generations who approach giving differently and see the world and its challenges from different vantage points.toolsin 2022, 21/6216464 addressed our learnings from the recent racial reckoning to revise our picture your legacy in hand tool to be more equitable. The gia is a fusion of experiential learning and purposeful skill building, all keenly designed for donors to become strategic and effective in their philanthropic decision-making, expand and strengthen their next gen donors network and inspire them to take next steps in their own giving. We are close to the 20th anniversary of grand street, a group of jewish donors involved as leaders in their family philanthropy, and we plan to celebrate in 2023. Trainingin 2022, we also offered 13 trainings to people across the country to provide for a cadre of advisors capable of providing expertise in this values-based and multigenerational approach to philanthropy and helping families make decisions around resources within their organizations. One of these trainings is specifically for certified advisors of color. As the pandemic began to lift, we began to meet in person again for three trainings, and the other trainings were conducted virtually. Participants included professionals of private foundations, community foundations, jewish federations administering donor advised funds, staff administering commercial gift funds, wealth management advisors, and so on. After participation in our trainings, attendees become 21/6216464 certified advisors and are offered ongoing peer learning including educational webinars, the latest resources and research, and next-level training among professionals serving philanthropic individuals and organizations. Workshops allow a short-form learned experience on the same topics. Cohorts were created for community and connection, as well as learning on the topics that today's donors face and the field of professionals is working on. We offered 11 workshops in 2022.
