5000 Role Models of Excellence Project intervenes in the lives of at-risk boys to provide alternative paths away from a life of crime and violence. The project provides ongoing teaching to students in 122 schools within Miami-Dade County School District as well as over 105 other schools in four surrounding districts. Adult role models, visitations, and a special curriculum are utilized for the mentor program.
