Program areas at A Caring Plus
A Caring Plus foundation provides quality, safe, affordable housing for seniors and families that enhances their overall quality of life. Our affordable housing program allows people in underserved communities the opportunity to realize their dream of becoming home owners. In addition to purchasing their homes at substantially reduced costs well under fair market value and receiving closing cost and down payment assistance, homebuyers can personalize their homes by selecting paint colors, appliances, siding, masonry, cabinets and other features. Our vision is to minimize the future challenges the homeowner may face with aging by building accessible homes with universal design that enable homebuyers to age in place. A Caring Plus foundation also provides A resource coordinator and maintenance services for A neighboring 44-unit and A recently built 30-unit low income senior living facility. The resource coordinator is responsible for planning activities (social events, physical activities, health and informational fairs and referrals to other social agencies).

Because we work with tenants who have A criminal background and bad credit, we give these individuals the opportunity to have A safe and affordable place to live.
