The agency provides an array of services including transitional and permanent housing, intake of assessment, housing information and resource identification, care coordination, mental health counseling, linkage to medical care, individual group counseling, HIV/STD education/prevention services, peer facilitated educational prevention groups, day treatment programs, work readiness services, life management skills training, case management, street outreach services, HIV support groups, tobacco education, substance abuse counseling, nutritional services and assistance gaining access to local, state and federal governmental benefits and services. The agency also provides permanently housing for people who are currently experiencing literal homelessness (e.g., living in shelters, encampments or on the streets) as well as those who may fall into homelessness as a result of the economic effects of the coronavirus.
This agency has been certified as a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) Single- Family HOME Development Program. The CHDO will develop, construct and market affordable sustainable resilient ENERGY STAR certified single-family homes.
