Program areas at A Heart for Horses
Ah4h has earned the trust and respect of the Montana horse community by promoting responsible horsemanship, animal care and educational outreach programs.
In 2021, 13 Horses were rescued into forever homes. 1 placed into A equine assisted therapy program, 2 in rehabilitation programs. 10 of them surrendered by owners. Ah4h assisted in 26 adoptions with our h.e.l.p. Helping equine lives program and partnered with multiple equine welfare and therapy organizations. Ah4h continued the Montana horse community grant program and continued to donate over 15,000 dollars in grants, shelters, fencing, feed, vet bill forgiveness and rescue assistance. Not including the support for Montana individuals, the community, businesses and equine events.
In 2021 4,247 individuals donated to ah4h by purchasing our Montana sponsored license plate.
In 2021 we have continued to expanded our community outreach with A new sponsorship program, promoting and supporting equine events throughout Montana.
