Program areas at A Place for You
A Place for You total residents in 2022 were 87 and 412 telephone calls taken. The director/casework works with each resident to find education, employment, mental health services, housing etc and provides ongoing support once they leave the center. Volunteers help with fundraising, answering phones, refurbishing rooms when A resident leaves, making meals, transporting clients to jobs or medical appointments. In 2022 there were 21 active volunteers who donated over 1,070 hours. Furnishings for You was established in 2018 to receive non-cash donations of household items to then resale to the general public generating support for "A Place for You".
