Served 165 participants. Provided tutoring, individual and group counseling services. All excel in rehearsals and live performances. Participants exceeded yearly goals for school attendance, behavior at school, and grade point averages.
Participants attended multiple Broadway musicals at the Performing Arts Center and met with artist and performers from those musicals in question and answer sessions. Actors from the Broadway musical Tina, which is the story of Tina Turner, visted the Historic Big 10 Ballroom and visited with our participants in that setting where Ike and Tina Turner regularly performed.
