A-WOL Dance Collective

A-WOL Dance Collective was founded twenty years ago as an aerial and modern dance company seeking to teach and perform original, creative works of art using aerial equipment and other forms of dance. The art that A-WOL is creating is meant to inspire others and encourage individuals to pursue creative avenues in their own lives. The way in which A-WOL presents art and inspires others is by participating in the following activities:(1)Educating youth and adults through classes, workshops, and performance opportunities; (2)dance performances that shares A-WOls art with the general public at theaters, outdoor functions, corporate events, fundraisers and artistic events; (3) training programs that offer both youth and adult pre-professional level dancers pursuing aerial dance, a creative outlet or professional career starting point; and (4) professional training space that allows professionals and pre-professionals a safe space to work on their art. The purpose of A-WOLs performance is to teach the public an appreciation of the combination of dance and aerial dance and inspire them to pursue their own creative endeavors.
