Program areas at Abilities Movement
Fitness Training/ Adapted Personal Training/ Group Fitness - This is a health and fitness-based program for people of all needs, disabilities, and health challenges to engage in cardiovascular activities, stretching, strength development, flexibility and functional-based movement to improve each individual's quality of life through home and community-based fitness training.
Outdoor Programming - Outdoor Programs include Hiking Club, Run Club, Kayaking, and Biking. These programs provide opportunities and adapted measures to allow individuals of all abilities to participate in community outdoor fitness activites.
Adapted Sports Teams - Adapted Sports Programs include Power Wheelchair Soccer, Adapted Kayaking, and Adapted Basketball. These programs provide sports opportunities and adapted measures to allow individuals of all abilities to participate in community sports programs.
Other programs include consulting, grants, and donations.
