Program areas at Academia Nuestra Senora de Fatima
The Academy provides a bilingual, Christian and individualized education to approximately 258 students, which were enrolled during scholar year 2021-2022 or approximately 186 learning days. Two modes are offered: In House and Home Schooling. For Home Schooling, the Academy provides the material, assistance to the parents and administers the tests and scores. While the curriculum and methodology used was the one prescribed by Accelerated Christian Education, School of Tomorrow, the curriculum was adapted for online use too. Curricular activities like the field trips and spiritual retreats were reinstated since they were put on hold due to the pandemic. The Honor Roll Recognition activity was celebrated live to recognize 36 students for their achievements. Additionally, 11 kindergarten students were promoted to Level 1; 12 students made their path to secondary school or level 7; 29 students made their path to high school and 30 obtained their high school diploma. All of them had the opportunity to celebrate these major achievements with their family, supervisors and monitors in their respective commencement ceremony or promotion activities.
The sport program components are: (1) the regular physical education curriculum, (2) after hours coaching sessions and (3) participation in competitions sponsored by the Sport School Union or UDE. A total of 52 students participated in the afterhours coaching sessions and 21 students participated in the sport events sponsored by UDE, about 15 different competitions.
