Description
Access Institute for Psychological Services serves low-income and uninsured San Francisco Bay Area residents by providing subsidized mental health services. As a community-based non-profit organization, our mission is to offer psychological support to those who are unable to access it for any number of reasons. We provide low and no-fee psychological services to the people in our community, and in the fiscal year 2021-2022, we provided more than 10,000 hours of service to over 350 individuals and families. Our program offers affordable and free mental health services to those in need.

Program areas at Access Institute for Psychological Services

Provided over 13,000 sessions of low-fee or free mental health care to over 700 individuals and families. In addition, delivered on-site mental health care to students, families and school communities and partnered with UCSF to offer our psychiatric nurse practictioner training program, expanding affordable psychiatric care.
