Program areas at Accessible Arts Vsa Kansas
Community Programs: Our programs offer interactive, interdisciplinary educational art instruction and exploration where participants who are primarily individuals with impairments and disabilities, develop art skills and comprehension through the combination of 2D and 3D arts, music programming, theater performance, art history and dance. Through their participation students develop art appreciation and awareness of their environment, themselves and their community.
The Fine Arts collaborative program allows students to learn and perform in all aspects of public performance and theatrical productions. Students experience professional performances and tours, with the class culminating in a their own theatrical performance at the end of the semester.
