Accountability Oregon provides excellent accounting services to small nonprofits and governments that directly serve vulnerable people. In 2021, we focused on providing below market rate services to a small customer list purchased from a solo practitioner with the goal of generating enough revenue to bring on full-time staff. As a result, we were able to hire staff in fall 2021.

Program areas at accountability Oregon

Our 2023 services expanded our program providing below market sliding scale to pro bono services to small nonprofits. We chose our customers from small nonprofits who provide direct services to historically marginalized people led by those most affected. We also evaluated our first years of pilot projects and have launched the Financial Healing Project which begins with the truth that poverty results in chronic trauma which requires healing.
