Contra Sida-HIV prevention delivers culturally & linguistically appropriate HIV/Aids prevention, education, information & testing to the hispanic community in SC. In 2023 performed 513 rapid HIV tests, cholesteral and glucose screenings, performed interventions to provide education and risk reduction skills to Hispanic individuals in SC. Distributed 8000 condoms.
Education & outreach-provided referrals for legal, medical, educational, and social services for the hispanic community in SC. In addition worked on community gardens, playgrounds, designed shade covered areas and picnic spaces for local hispanic families.
