Program areas at Active Aging
Home delivered meals - nutritious meals are delivered to eligible persons on a weekly basis if they are unable to prepare their daily meal. Served 103,195 meals to 652 clients.
Senior community centers - represents the cost of operating centers for the elderly for social activities. There are four centers and one additional satellite center. Served 73,075 units of service to 935 unduplicated participants.
Congregate meals - meals that are provided in a congregate setting within the senior community centers. - 38,208 meals to 736 clients.
Other services include care management, volunteer services, passenger transportation,outreach, legal assistance, ombudsman, regional ombudsman coordination, information and referral, personal assistance service, medical equipment and supplies, protective service intake, domicilliary care, guardianship, consumer reimbursement, employment service and personal care.
