Adams County Emergency Food Bank

The shift in operations following the pandemic has left Adams County Food Bank in a better position to provide food for people in need. Adaption and streamlining services following the pandemic, has helped improve overall efficiency. All processes and procedures have been altered or modified to navigate and overcome logistical obstacles as large quantities of food is moved back and forth to support people in need. While the pandemic curtailed volunteerism and participation, the volunteer program has survived and strengthened with our renewed efforts. COVID-19 funding made it possible to hire additional staff who bring new perspective and ideas. Our robust operation is thriving and has proven to be resilient and sustainable.
