Early childhood education (ece) is an education program dedictated to serving toddlers and preschoolers who are the children of students enrolled in our adult education program. Research shows that early childhood education programs are the single most effective investment to prepare a child for the first day of school. Our ece program fills a critical gap of services in the community and helps lessen the disparity between latino children and their peers when entering schools. We currently operate 7 ece classrooms that include certified preschool and head start programs.
The leadership and advocacy department oversees all civic engagement trainings, workshops, and educational opportunities for Adelante Mujeres participants through the civic leaders training, immigrant solidarity, environmental justice programs.
