Program areas at Adrienne Arsht Center Trust

The Center is a showcase for the finest in established and developing cultural programs. It is the foundation on which its resident companies (Florida grand opera, miami city ballet, and new world symphony) build their programs and extend their reach. The Center also serves as a laboratory for smaller, emerging organizations by providing first class accessible facilities. Programming includes broadway musicals; world music and dance; latin pop; cabaret; jazz; holiday specials; theatre; stand-up comedy; classical music; and modern dance.
Arts education and community engagement is a major component of the Center's mission. The Center has created a strong, multi-faceted initiative that addresses arts education, both in sweeping comprehensive ways (e.g. Learning through the arts), and in focused, individualized efforts (such as aileycamp miami). Overall approximately 80,000 k-12 students in miami-dade county public schools are impacted by these efforts every year.
