Program areas at Adult Enrichment Centers

Program 1: ADHC - ThriveOur Thrive program has operated at 95% of capacity for the full year. Our members and families benefit from a staff well educated in person first care. Led by a Director with 20 years experience in senior care and a phenomenal RN team, we are able to provide a comprehensive care system that supports people where they are and helps them progress to where they want to be. Our day program uses art, music and intellectual games to support a healthy mind and body. Community outings and assistive technology support individual goals of being fully included in all aspects of our program. Program 2: High FiveOur DDSN Day Program implemented a program change to become School of the Arts. This tremendous undertaking has offered members the opportunity to learn music, art , health and life skills as well as creative challenges in our makers space and community inclusion through volunteerism. The growth and progress in our members as they take on these new challenges has been a beautiful thing to watch. Our staff has risen to the occasion with exceptional commitment. We are truly thankful for this past year and the progress we have all made in building an inclusive community. Program 3: Renew Montessori for Aging and MemoryThis program has faced the challenge of new leadership and grown. We know the value of early intervention in people with Mild Cognitive Impairment or dementia. Drs are not recommending services as early as they should so the need to educate is immediate. The quality of life improvement in people who receive early interventions is definitive and documentable. Polling of members and families who come to us very early in the disease process tells us of the overall QoL they see. More research is needed in the early intervention field.
