Advertising Club of Kansas City

Spark kc (formally career day)is an annual professional development event. It offers various sessions from well known speakers with cutting edge topics for professional growth. It also offers resume and portfolio reviews from top executives in the Kansas City Advertising community.

In it's quest to fulfill the organization's mission, they offer a unique program called, "ad2 Club." This program is designed specifically for members aged 32 and under just starting their Advertising careers. This program designs events for members to broaden their career networks and experiences by working with fellow members in the community on various projects. One such project is the "virtual agency." For this project, each year a philanthropic organization with a need for Advertising services is chosen and ad2 members team up to create a mini agency and work together in all disciplines to support the chosen organization. Members volunteer their time and ideas all year to develop and deliver a campaign to the chosen organization.

Contribution to the brandlab whose mission is to build quality programs that introduce, guide and prepare students for careers in the industry.
