Program areas at AFL-CIO - North Valley Labor Federation
We advocate for our members by advocating for policies to improve the economic conditions of working families, including for better wages, health care, retirement security, schools, and more. Through organizing and educating our members and the public, we build advocacy programs for these purposes.
In 2022 the work of the NVLF included a broad range of programs that included support for affiliated unions workplace action and legislative priorities, member outreach and education including outreach related to civic participation, policy advocacy, and grant funded worked aimed at promoting worker safety and mitigating the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
