EDUCATION:During 2023, the educational sponsorship program supported 11,000+ students from kindergarten through university. 788 students completed their secondary education (12th grade) or a vocational equivalent. 817 post-secondary students received support to attend university or a vocational equivalent.6,485 home visits to students were conducted by local Child Welfare Officers.76,246 students participated in iLead training, in partnership with the John Maxwell Leadership Foundation and Rwandan Ministry of Education.FAITH:217,000+ people were reached with the gospel through New Life Bible Churches, livestreams, and related events.1,228 people made decisions for Christ. 1,077 pastors and students were trained at the Africa College of Theology. 1 new church was launched, in the community of Huye, with work beginning on several other new churches as well.HEALTH:72,901 patients were cared for at the Dream Medical Center Hospital.1,248 babies were born in a safe, healthy environment at the hospital. 6,485 student visits were facilitated by community nurses, who also acted as liaisons for families needing additional/emergency care.COMMUNITY:143 women and children were supported through the New Life Womens Development Programs.5.4+ million meals were provided through our programs and schools. 4.6 million meals were provided through Africa New Lifes programs and schools.645 community members benefited from women receiving monthly food packs.
More than 215 volunteers serving short-term missions to Rwanda to assist Africa New Life Ministries-Rwanda with its programs and ministries, providing medical clinics, sports camps and programs, leadership development and other conferences.
