African Coummunity Alliance - Afcal

African Community Alliance (AFCAL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization qualified for tax-exempt status that operates and is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. AFCAL's mission is not only to help its members alleviate the burdens associated with unexpected and unplanned funeral costs after a loved one passes away but also to empower its members to boost their personal growth. A key objective of the African Community Alliance is to collect contributions and donations from each association/pool member and the general public and use the fund to pay for the funeral home, deduct the administrative costs, and transfer the balance to the beneficiary. In addition, AFCAL works to create and maintain a database of different associations and other groups of individuals living in North America with the aim to facilitate the repatriation and/or burial of deceased active members.
