Program areas at African Culture Connection

African Culture Connection's residency and community outreach teaches and connects students ages 5 to 15 with African Culture through music, dance, and other arts. Our performances to the public, school assemblies, residencies, and through workshops help to promote unity and multiculturalism by providing authentic hands-on experiences with the African Culture. Additionally, it helps the students learn to express themselves creatively and how to work as a team. The programs are currently held at 20 area public schools as well as several other nonprofit organizations in the area who provide afterschool programs for students.
