African Research and Action Institute USA

African Research and Action Institute USA performs research and develops initiatives to aid disadvantaged communities. It provides advice and support to AFRAC Institute and its initiatives in the DRC and other parts of Africa. The organization makes the time of its CEEO and Board members available without charge, while covering a majority of publication and shipping costs, as well as some other expenses. The first year of operations was spent organizing as a not-for-profit corporation, which accounted for a substantial majority of its expenses.
