AgInno Institute develops and demonstrates innovative approaches to address food and water security issues in developing countries. It hosts mission groups from the US who put concrete floors in homes, improve the local medical clinic, and meet basic needs. AgInno Institute also funds university engineering projects such as the development of a solar power system for small pond intensive aquaculture. Additionally, it began water projects in two indigenous communities in Guatemala by drilling wells in La Planada and San Simon I.
