Program areas at AgSafe
The AgSafe annual conference is the largest, most diverse agricultural safety, health, human resources and equipment safety educational event in the US, offering over 50 classes in the essential worker safety, health, human resources and equipment safety issues impacting the food and farming industries.
AgSafe offers a variety of community-based trainings across the US addressing both universal as well as commodity-specific safety, health, human resources, and equipment safety issues. These programs range from one-hour updates to multi-day certificate programs and conferences and are offered in person as well as online in webinar format.
AgSafe provides one-on-one assistance to individual growers, packers, shippers, processors and farm labor contractors. In these instances, AgSafe may conduct company-specific training, audit company safety and human resources policies and/or assist the company in developing and fine-tuning its safety, health, human resources and equipment safety programs. AgSafe receives grants for industry outreach, new safety training curriculum development and implementation of existing safety, health and human resources education programs.
