Creates innovative real estate development/acquisition strategies and pair them with life-changing programs for residents. Ahc, inc.'s portfolio includes 55 multifamily communities which provide over 8,425 homes, most of them affordable rental units, in Virginia, Maryland, and the district of columbia.
Community relations and resident services - Ahc, inc.'s nationally recognized resident services division works with residents in four main program areas: financial resilience, health/wellness, education/youth development, and community building/engagement. Ahc, inc.'s community relations (cr) division provides communications, fundraising, and community building/engagement services that advance Ahc, inc.'s mission and contribute to community understanding of affordable housing and related issues. Ahc, Inc. is committed to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion, seeking resident input, and elevating resident agency.
Professional services - Ahc, Inc. has an in-house division that provides mission-driven expertise and professional services. These include real estate development, asset and construction management, and administrative services that generate earned income, assess the health of our properties, work with property management companies, and support the nonprofit subsidiary Ahc greater baltimore.
