Program areas at Aia Miami

In 2022, Aia Miami held over 150 classes, educational programs, meetings, and seminars. Classes include 42 for-credit (ceus) for Architects and ancillary fields. Programming for specific needs of emerging Architects includes workshops on taxes, human resources, and leadership development. The leadership development program is a year-long program which trains future leaders in the profession. Other activities include community outreach through the bam (black Architects in the making) program and our aim summer camp for students aged 8 16 years. A section of our annual design awards celebration is reserved for high school students from dash (design & architecture sr. high school) and local universities' architecture programs, allowing them to participate in professional competitions while in school.
