Program areas at AFA
AID FOR AIDS reached more than 120,000 people with HIV prevention and education information; did more than 35,000 HIV tests identifying almost almost 1,000 people with HIV and linked them to care; and distributed more than 700,0000 condoms and over 440,000 lubricants. We also distributed over 13,000 bottles of ARVS, being over $6.5 million worth in medicines; and provided HIV treatment to more than 3000 people in Latin America and the Caribbean. AFA also provided adherence to treatment counseling and provided information about treatments to our HIV beneficiaries. We also provided medical services in LatAm, especially in Colombia to Venezuelan migrants and refugees.
