Program areas at Aids Care Service

In the 6 county region of forsyth county, acs has provided services addressing the immediate needs of 425 persons living with hiv and has provided hiv prevention education to 350 persons of negative or unknown hiv status. Acs has many venues through which it provides services to those living with hiv, the two largest of which are the holly haven family Care home and the housing program at the horseshoe transitional apartments. Holly haven provides professional Care for persons living with advanced hiv and support for their families. Holly haven offers hour "family style" residential services including meals activities, medication administration, housekeeping and personal Care the housing program offers temporory housing for up to 5 families at a time in the horseshoe apartments.
