Integrated classrooms- Aim High children'Childrens's Services has various integrated classrooms composed of pre-school children (3 and 4 year olds) who benefit considerably from special Services within a structured classroom composed of typically developing peers. This program Services both developmentally delayed and typically developing students.
Mde Services- Aim High provides multidisciplinary evaluations for children age 3-5. Parents with concerns about their children'Childrens's development are referred to Aim High to be evaluated for delays by a team of evaluators. The evaluations include a psychological evaluation and a social history. Followed by an educational evaluation and if needed occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy evaluations. They are then referred to the nyc doe for an iep meeting and recommendation for Services.
SEIT-Aim High Children's Services special education teachers educate the physically or mentally handicapped children whose needs cannot be met in an ordinary classroom. This is done through classroom or private instruction, involving techniques, exercises and subject matter specially designed for these children.
