VOLUNTEER PILOT ORGANIZATION - This program supports volunteer pilots that conduct public benefit flights. These flights are intended to serve a public need in providing disaster and emergency relief flying for environmental support or supporting other community services missions such as non-critical medical flights. During emergency response Air Transport Services can make aerial assessment of damage deliver emergency supplies transport relief workers and relocate survivors. In-kind donations of services for 2023 totaled $245,045.
