Akademiya2063 was established to create state-of-the-art technical capacities in Africa, supporting member states of the African Union in achieving the goals of Agenda 2063. Its mission is to transform national economies for growth and prosperity. The academy's rationale includes housing three major Africawide programs that promote effective evidence-based development policy and support the implementation of the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Programme (CAADP).

Program areas at Akademiya2063

The Policy, Evidence, Analytics, Research and Learning (PEARL) project activities were carried out in the AU member states.
Digitally Enabled Resilience and Nutrition Policy Innovations (DERPIn) Project has activities in Rwanda, Senegal, Malawi, Ghana and Uganda. It works in close collaboration with in-country partners in these countries.
The Regional Strategic Analysis and Knowledge Support System (ReSAKSS) Program provides data and related analytical and knowledge products to facilitate CAADP benchmarking. These activities are carried out in African Union (AU) member states, as need arises.
