Program areas at Alabama Blues Project

After-school program teaching children blues history and how to play blues instruments. Programs were held at multiple schools. Students were taught by contracted professional musicians and were exposed to traditional African instruments, guitar, harmonica, drums, and vocals. The children provide a free public concert at the end of each 10-week program to showcase what they have learned.
