Program areas at Alaska Library Network
SLED is a virtual library program that offers a range of resources for all age groups and delivers these resources via the internet to Alaskas students and residents
The Bridging Knowledge grant program supports underrepresented students enrolled at San Jose State in the graduate library science program.
Alaska Library Catalog meets the needs of the member libraries for a single integrated library system that provides enhanced access to library materials to the residents in their combined service areas. The ALC has more than 180,000 registered borrowers.
Additional programs include the Alaska Digital Library which is an ebook and audio book program available to participating libraries and their users. ALN also supports archival programs for adding new content as well as scanning historical materials. Funding was provided to add content ebooks and print materials to library collections. ALN was also the sponsor of training and professional development programs.
