Alaska Marine Safety Education Association (AMSEA)

Amesa offers Marine Safety courses to the public throughout Alaska and in various locations in the contiguous 48 states. Courses require active participation in hands-on training. During this reporting period, 555 students trained in drill conductor classes; 34 instructors trained in the Marine Safety instructor training; 1,120 students trained in cold water Safety and survival; 103 students trained in ergonomics (injury prevention); 224 trained in mariner's first aid; 39 trained in stability.
