Program areas at Alaska Society for Technology in Education
The annual conference was held in February which is designed to keep members abreast of new developments in the information technology industry related to education. In fiscal year 2024, the conference was held at the Hotel Captain Cook over a 4-day period, and we had 4 Keynote speakers, 180 learning sessions, and 350 guests in attendance.
The spring retreat is held annually in April or May and is for the board of directors and support staff only. It is used to plan for the upcoming year, choose a conference theme, pass the annual budget, and form the various committees that will run the conference.
