Albany Guardian Society

Ags institute - the Albany Guardian Society institute offers a wide range of classes on topics of interest to both seniors and aging services providers. Since its inception, the programs have covered topics ranging from caregiving to housing to aging in place. Institute programs provide smaller class sizes that provide an intimate and personalized learning experience.

Forums, projects, and community service - regional aging forums designed to provide educational assistance to organizations and providers of senior services, the focus of which is to identify ways to better coordinate their delivery methods and services to seniors.

Villages - villages are member-driven organizations for senior citizens which provide programs and services that allow members to lead vibrant, active and healthy lives, while living in their own homes and neighborhoods. Benefits include access to discounted providers who can help seniors manage their household, stay active and healthy, and help with driving needs. The Albany Guardian Society provides support in the form of scholarships for possible members and forums to provide education.

Community based services and activites that work to assist seniors in successful aging and support other organizations that provide long-term care for seniors.
