Program areas at Albemarle Alliance for Children and Families
Early Care & Education: 425 early care educators attended training workshops; 75 childcare facilities received general technical assistance; 150 families received referral and/or consumer education information about childcare. Star ratings status per DCDEE placed on "Hold Harmless". 2 centers participated in startup TA and became licensed facilities and opened in 23-24.
Health and Safety:52 trainings conducted; 157 childcare providers attended health and safety training workshops; 588 total capacity of all facilities served; 15 childcare facilities received at least one on-site consultation from a Smart Start funded CCHC. Attended 27 outreach events.
Family Support: 34 parent/guardians participated in our Nurturing Parent Program activity funded by Smart Start; 32 families participated in two Circle of Parents groups; 40 families were served in four Incredible Years parent education course series; 3,289 children participated in DPIL. 143 parents/guardians participated in the Family Support network.
