Albuquerque Adult Learning Centers student-centered program model helps participants become lifelong learners by instilling the value of education and the importance of literacy for individuals, children and families. ABQ-ALC provided free adult education services to 320 participants overall. These services included English as a Second Language (ESL), Literacy, Family Literacy, High School Equivalency Prep and Credential, and Caree Pathway Services primarily in Bernalillo, Sandoval, Torrance, and Valencia Counties. ABQ-ALC also supported several participants at a distance outside of the central region through its Distance Education/Learning Program.
