Health care services - provides progressive quality health care to the people of the aleutian/pribilof Islands region.
Children services - provides head start services, foster parent programs, child development and indian child welfare programs to assist in intervention with "child in need of aid" cases.
Public safety services - with funding from the state of Alaska, apia provides village public safety officers (vpsos)to the Aleutian Pribilof regional communities. Vpsos perform law enforcement duties and are first responders to many types of emergencies, to include but not limite to, fire, medical, and search and rescue. In collaboration with usafv in unalaska, the family violence grant provides funds for immediate shelter and support services to adult and youth victims and their dependents, of family violence, domestic violence, or dating violence, while also providing funds for prevention training and services.
