Program areas at Alf Engen Ski Museum Foundation

The Alf Engen Ski Museum educated and entertained 445,000 visitors in 2023 with free entry to two history museums. The virtual Mountain Sports Simulator and corresponding Virtual Ski Jump are offered at $6 per person. The Mountain Sports Simulator is now 10 years old, so we had to upgrade the software and hardware systems in 2023. This resulted in some downtime on the simulator, but it is now updated and has more safety features. We educated over 1,750 Grade 4 students, teachers, and parents through our Educational Field Trip Program. We inducted three new ski pioneers on August 24th, 2023, bringing our total Hall of Fame inductees to ninety-one. We have paid a 60% deposit for the remodel of the Intermountain Ski Hall of Fame foyer, as a component of the Entrance to Museum upgrade project. The Hall of Fame remodel is scheduled to be completed in time for the Induction Ceremony to be held on August 21st, 2024.
