Algonquin Sports for Kids

Operation of an outdoor recreation soccer program which runs at seven local public parks as well as after school programs that run at 20 schools and community centers. The soccer for success program served 2,000 players. The program is available for k-8 players and holds practices three times a week for at least 75-90 minutes. The program provides expert coaches, soccer instruction and equipment to the childred already participating in the after school program. Additionally, the program provides occasional localfarmer's markets to give families access to fresh fruits and vegetables, and transportation to special events that expose childred and their families to healty community events.
