We are a doj accredited organization to provide immigration legal service to the low income community of Illinois. We represent individuals, families before uscis in the following areas of immigration law:- family based immigration- adjustment of status- citizenship and naturalization- deferred action for childhood arrival (daca)- waiver of grounds of inadmissibility- provisional unlawful presence waiver- permission to reapply for admission into the united states after deportation of removal- vawa (violence against women act)- u-visa (victims of crime)- parole in place for family members of veterans and service members- asylum- consular process- short-term visas, changes of status, extensions of status- nonimmigrant visas
New americans initiative partner organizations have in-house legal clinics and citizenship workshops throughout the year to assist community members applying for citizenship and/or daca.funds are limited amount of funds specifically to cover the uscis fees for n-400/n-600 applicants in need.uscis fees will be covered fully at $725 for n-400 and $1,170 for n-600uscis fees will be covered partially at $405 for n-400
